Dispatchers will take your tip information and log the date, time, and a brief summary, but you will not be asked to provide your name. The dispatcher will then assign you Tip ID number.

After reporting a tip you can check your reward status by calling the tip number and giving the dispatcher your Tip ID number. You can start checking your tip reward status within 30 days after reporting a tip. Once a reward is awarded it is your discretion to determine how to claim your reward.

Fill out the online form and enter a password of your choice at the end of the form. If you do not enter a password one will be assigned. Click 'Submit Tip' and your web tip code number and password will be displayed. Please record your web tip code number and password so that you can follow up on the status of your tip.

After a tip is submitted the law enforcement agency investigates the report. If an arrest is made from the information received you are entitled to a reward as determined by the CRIME STOPPERS Board.

Due to the investigation process, rewards can sometimes take several months or sometimes years to receive after a tip is reported. However, you can start checking your tip reward status within 30 days after reporting a tip. Once a reward is awarded it is your discretion to determine how to claim your reward.
